San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito is one of those places that does the work for you. It’s romantic and quiet, which made it the right setting for Maria and Farhan’s elopement. We handled the Montecito wedding hair and makeup, and the whole day had an easy, unhurried feel to it.

As the light softened, Maria stepped into the ranch gardens with her hair in loose waves and a soft, glowing makeup look. Nothing heavy, just her features gently played up, the kind of bridal makeup that reads beautifully in warm late-day light. Her lace gown finished the whole picture.
Farhan waited for her under an old oak tree. When they joined hands, both grinning, it was clear the setting suited them. The ceremony was small and full of feeling, exactly what an elopement should be.

Once the sun went down, the ranch turned into something special. Lights strung over the terracotta, olive trees rustling, and the two of them dancing and laughing. A small wedding, but it didn’t feel small at all.

From the first look through the last dance, Maria’s hair and makeup stayed exactly where it should. That’s the whole job. Our artists build looks that last so a bride never has to think about touch-ups and can just enjoy her day.

Maria and Farhan’s day was proof that even the smallest weddings are full of joy. We were glad to be part of it at San Ysidro Ranch, handling the bridal hair and makeup and helping Maria feel like herself on one of the best days of her life.
