Danyelle + Taylor’s San Diego Museum of Art Wedding

As a beauty concierge, I get to work with couples all over the country, which means a lot of different looks and styles come across my desk. Picking a favorite is impossible, since I love all of our couples. But one of my recent favorites was Danyelle, a Las Vegas bride who got married in San Diego. She is edgy and sure of herself, and every choice showed it, from her dress to her San Diego wedding hair and makeup to her venue. I got some sneak peeks from her day and couldn’t choose one favorite photo, so I will let you see for yourself.

Edgy Bride, Edgy Style

Danyelle’s taste shows up in everything. When we started working together, she told me her dress was being custom made. For her bridal hair and makeup, she wanted the makeup neutral and low-key, mostly because her hair was going to do the talking. She chose two loose textured buns. She took a high fashion idea and made it work for her wedding day, and I love her for it.

Edgy Venue: The San Diego Museum of Art

This is easily one of my favorite weddings of 2019 so far. Danyelle chose to get married at the San Diego Museum of Art, her west coast answer to marrying at The Plaza. The building is stunning and the details go on and on. Look at the photos and you can picture yourself getting married here.

And you get to walk down these steps like it’s your entrance. Hard to beat that.

There’s so much more I could say about this wedding, but what I love most is that Danyelle stayed true to her style. She wanted to look and feel like herself. She has a cool, easy way about her day to day, and she wanted that on her wedding day too, without ever being uncomfortable.

Brides and grooms, stick to your style and to what makes you feel most like you. It’s your wedding day. You want a day full of smiles and laughs, not one spent stressing over details. Sip the mimosa and enjoy it. I know I would.
