In September we got to be part of a wedding in Big Sky, Montana, and it was a good one. We handled the Big Sky wedding hair and makeup for the bride and her party, and the whole day leaned into the setting: big mountains, open sky, and a bride who wanted her bridal hair and makeup to look like the best version of herself, not someone else.
The bride’s look
The bride wanted natural. With the crisp mountain air around her, she chose makeup that played up her features while still looking like her, for a fresh, glowy finish.
For her hair she went with smooth, loose curls that moved in the breeze. It suited the outdoor setting, refined but easy, and the whole look came together beautifully.
Planning a destination wedding in Big Sky
Destination weddings come with their own logistics. Our bride planned hers from out of state and trusted us with hair and makeup for herself and eight bridesmaids. We were glad to run that side of the day so every look was ready and right on time.
As the sun went down over Montana, the whole party stood together looking exactly the way the bride had pictured. It was a good reminder that the best beauty looks start with looking like yourself.
This Big Sky wedding stuck with us. We’re grateful we got to be there, and we wish the newlyweds a long, happy life together in the mountains they love.
