Last July we got to be part of a destination wedding at Edgewood Tahoe. The bride was a Tampa, FL native with a clear picture of her day, and we handled her Lake Tahoe wedding hair and makeup from the rehearsal dinner through the ceremony.
When she first reached out, she told us, “I love your work and love that you SPECIFICALLY work with destination weddings!” That energy told us right away this one would be fun.
One Trusted Artist, Flown In
She wanted an artist she already knew and trusted next to her on the wedding day, so we flew one of our talented artists from Tampa out to Lake Tahoe. Same hands she had worked with before, same comfort, no guessing.
That artist covered both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day, so the bride looked and felt like herself at every point. The looks sat beautifully against the lake.
From Tampa to Tahoe, Handled
Destination weddings live and die on the logistics. Because this is what we do, we coordinated her hair and makeup down to the detail from across the country. From her first inquiry to the last touch-up, she didn’t have to chase anything.
We booked the flights, the hotel, and the transportation for the artist, so none of that landed on the bride. What she got was a calm, sorted experience and a look that held from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony.
