If you are getting ready with your people on the wedding morning, bridal party hair and makeup is usually the biggest piece of your beauty budget. The good news is that it is simple to estimate. We price per person, so once you know who wants hair and makeup, you can add it up quickly. Most parties land somewhere between about $900 and $3,000, and this guide shows you exactly how to get to your number.
Everything is per person, and the rate depends on the region of your wedding. Here are our published per person prices:
| Party hair and makeup (SoCal and Colorado) | $300 per person |
| Hair only or makeup only (SoCal and Colorado) | $200 per person |
| Party hair and makeup (Northern California) | $385 per person |
| Hair only or makeup only (Northern California) | $285 per person |
| The bride | $525 SoCal and CO, $675 NorCal |
Lashes are complimentary with every makeup service, and not everyone in the party has to be in the chair. Mixing full hair and makeup for some and hair only or makeup only for others is completely normal, and it is an easy way to keep the budget focused.

These assume a Southern California or Colorado wedding at $300 per person for full hair and makeup, with the bride at $525. Northern California runs a little higher per person.
You plus three attendants, all hair and makeup: $525 for you and $900 for your three attendants, for $1,425 in services before a trial or travel.
You plus five attendants: $525 plus $1,500, for $2,025 in services. At this size, a second artist is often worth it so everyone is ready on time.
You plus seven attendants: $525 plus $2,100, for $2,625 in services. Larger parties almost always need a second artist to keep the morning calm and on schedule.
Build your wedding day estimate
One artist comfortably handles a smaller party, but as your group grows, so does the time in the chair. We plan about five to six services per artist. Past that, a second artist ($350) is what keeps your getting ready window reasonable, so you are not starting at sunrise or finishing in a rush. It is not an upsell, it is timing. We will tell you on your timeline whether your party size and start time call for one, before you commit.
Travel is quoted per traveling artist from your getting ready address, with the first 20 miles complimentary. For a bridal party, that usually means the same trip covers the whole group, and a second artist adds their own travel. Close-to-town venues keep travel modest; mountain, desert, or estate venues add a little for the drive.

We do not hide the ball with confusing package tiers. Your package is simply your real services added up: the bride, your party, any trials, and travel. You can see the whole thing before you book, which is better than a one-size number that may not match your actual party. If you want to compare, you can build your exact estimate in a couple of minutes.
Your party pricing follows the region of your wedding. For the full breakdown, see our California wedding hair and makeup cost guide or our Colorado wedding hair and makeup cost guide.
How much is bridal party hair and makeup? It is per person: $300 for full hair and makeup in Southern California and Colorado, $385 in Northern California, plus the bride and any travel. A party of four lands around $1,425 in services, a party of eight around $2,625.
Does everyone have to get both hair and makeup? No. Hair only or makeup only is $200 per person in SoCal and Colorado, and mixing services across the party is common.
Who pays for bridesmaids hair and makeup? It varies by couple. Some brides gift it, some bridesmaids cover their own. We can set it up either way and keep the billing clean.
