Bridget and Sean’s Palm Springs Wedding

Palm Springs has been the hot spot for weddings for a few years now, but most recently it has become the staple for weddings no matter the season. It’s a perfect place for a destination wedding for those in other parts of California, which was the case for our couple Bridget and Sean who live in Los Angeles, CA. Bridget and Sean chose the Holiday House in Palm Springs, as it was far enough away to make it feel like a destination wedding, while also enabling their friends and family to come without it being too far away. 

Destination Wedding Hair + Makeup

For any of our clients doing destination weddings, we present them with two options for hair and/or makeup artists. They can either have options from where they live (in this case Los Angeles) or local to the area (Palm Springs). There are pros and cons to both options and it really becomes what works best for them. In the case of Bridget, she preferred the convenience of being able to do a trial at her home in LA, so we arranged for a hairstylist that is local to LA that could achieve the vision she had for her hairstyle, who would then travel to Palm Springs for the wedding day. 

Even in September, Palm Springs can be quite warm, so it’s important to have a hairstyle that compliments not only your style, but also the weather as well. Bridget wanted to wear her hair down with soft waves that accentuated her style and features, so it was important for her hairstylist to ensure the longevity of the style in the desert heat and throughout the evening. 

As you can see by the photos, Bridget and Sean had the time of their lives and Bridget’s hair and makeup lasted throughout the day / evening. That’s the mark of an experienced stylist and makeup artist, as their expertise ensures the hair and makeup stays so the couple can enjoy their day without worry.
