Anna & Dan’s Wedding at Villa Royale | Palm Springs Wedding Hair and Makeup

Some weddings could only happen in one place. Anna and Dan’s celebration at Villa Royale — Palm Springs’ beloved Spanish-style hideaway — was pure desert romance: bougainvillea against white stucco, golden-hour light that photographers dream about, and a wedding morning that ran exactly the way a wedding morning should.

The Look: Natural Glam, Lit From Within

Anna asked for natural glam — dewy, glowy skin that still reads polished in photographs. In the desert, that glow has to be engineered: our artists started with hydration-first skin prep so Anna’s makeup melted into her skin rather than sitting on top of it, then built her look in long-wear layers that kept the luminosity without ever tipping into shine, even as the Palm Springs afternoon warmed up.

Her hair was styled half up with soft pieces framing her face — romantic, undone-but-intentional movement that held its shape from first look through the last dance.

A Full-Service Beauty Morning

This is what a beauty concierge looks like in practice. For Anna and Dan’s day, Elwynn + Cass coordinated:

• Hair and makeup for the bride
• Hair and makeup for eight additional guests
• Hair and makeup for the mother of the bride
• Makeup for the mother of the groom
• Hair styling for the officiant
• Four artists on-site for full-service execution and support

Four artists, one timeline, one point of contact. Twelve services finished calm and on schedule (a 7:30am start and completed by 12:15pm). With Anna’s final touches timed to her photographer’s first-look window, not the other way around.
