Arianna + Mark | Indian Wells Desert Wedding

On a beautiful fall day in November, Arianna and Mark had a desert wedding at Indian Wells Golf Resort. Their wedding was the encapsulation of the warmth and love they feel for one another and as was showcased by the rich tones of their wedding. Indian Wells was the perfect choice, as the weather couldn’t have been better for their desert wedding.

Hair + Makeup Vision

Arianna has gorgeous skin and doesn’t really need much makeup, so she wanted to stick to a makeup look that accentuated her features, but still made her feel like herself. However, to ensure she looked flawless in her photos, she did have heavier coverage than day to day makeup. This makes sure that one’s skin tone looks smooth and can handle any high definition from cameras that can wash you out.

For her hair, she wanted to keep it romantic and flowy, to go with the romantic vibe of her desert wedding. Since the wedding was in November, there wasn’t a concern of summer heat, which would make having a down hairstyle more difficult with a outdoor desert wedding. With the cooler temperatures, Arianna was able to have her hair down and her makeup stayed flawless.

Tip: In warmer temperatures, you want to have a makeup artist that is experienced in setting makeup in warmer temperatures, otherwise, it is very easy for makeup to run or your skin to get oily. This lends itself to looking shiny in photos, or needing to touch up a lot throughout the night.

For her bridesmaids, Arianna allowed each one of them to choose the hairstyle they wanted. Some chose half-up hairstyles, others chose updos and some down styles. This is a trend we are loving with brides, as they are letting everyone choose a style they feel most beautiful in and this translates to photos looking even better on the wedding day.

As you can see from their smiles, Arianna and Mark loved every second of their desert wedding and we couldn’t be happier to have been part of the experience!
