Kelsey + Brayden’s Aspen Elopement At The Little Nell

In Colorado, there are a few wedding destinations that are at the top of the list for many couples. The Little Nell is one such location and was the perfect spot for Kelsey and Brayden’s elopement. The Little Nell has a charm and tranquility to it that draws couples and weddings to its doors, so it was no surprise that Kelsey and Brayden sought to have this ambiance for their elopement during the summer. 

Scheduling hair + makeup for an elopement

Often time for elopements, couples plan things in a shorter time span than they would a wedding. However, when it comes to hair and makeup, it is still best to book your hair and makeup artist(s) as soon as you know the date and location. With elopements becoming more popular, weekdays are booking up just as quickly as weekends, so the sooner you can secure artist(s), the better. 

For Kelsey, she booked her hair and makeup artist(s) about a month before her elopement. She made the process easier for herself by having a defined vision for her hair and makeup looks, so when she reached out, we were able to secure artist(s) for her quickly that fit the vision she had. Since her elopement was a destination wedding as well, she wasn’t able to do a trial prior. However, by having inspiration photos prior to the day, this will eliminate any stress, as the artists will have a working idea of a client’s vision and in the case of Kelsey’s vision, were able to execute her look to perfection since they already knew what she wanted.
